Annetta Louise Clark, age 88, of Latexo was called home to our loving Lord on Wednesday the 14th day of August 2019 at her home in Latexo after suffering several years with Lewy Body Dementia. She was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on the 19th day of August 1930 to parents Lee Jack and Billie Louise Costello Jack. Annetta gave her life to the Lord at a very young age. She was dedicated to her family, working and singing in church, was an excellent cook, enjoyed oil painting, and was a lifelong gardener. Her grandchildren were the delight of her life.

Annetta is survived by her husband of 70 years, Kenneth Clark of Latexo; sons, Ronald Clark and wife, Carol of Latexo, Bill Clark and wife, Sheri of Iola, Kent Clark and wife, Doris of Latexo; sister, Pam Sherwood and husband, Steve of Lenoir City, Tennessee; grandchildren, Meredith Hill and husband, Collin of Hearne, Brian Clark and wife, Talia of Pawhuska, Oklahoma, Mitchell Clark of Latexo, Nathan Clark and wife, Jillian of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Kathryn Clark of College Station, Michael Clark and wife, Insun of South Korea, Michelle Morris and husband, Brandon of Iola; great-grandchildren, Christian Clark of Iola, Peyton Morris of Iola, Madelyn Hill of Hearne, Coleman Hill of Hearne; sister-in-law, Joan Jack of Tulsa, Oklahoma; brother-in-law, Wendell Clark of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. Annetta was preceded in death by her parents, Lee Jack and Louise Norwood; brother, Louis Jack; and sister-in-law, Barbara Clark.

Funeral services for Annetta Clark will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel with Rev. Arthur Betz officiating. Interment will follow at the Latexo Cemetery. Family will receive visitors 2:00 p.m. Saturday prior to the service. Online condolences may be left at www.callawayallee.com .

  1. A very special lady. I’ll always remember her kindness, especially towards my daughter. She treated her as one of her own grandkids. Prayers for the entire family, and for Annetta’s network of friends and loved ones. Heaven gained a beautiful soul.
