  1. Always with a smile, laughing and cutting up – that’s how I will always remember Bernice! I cherish my friendship with her daughters, and offer my prayers and sympathies to her three children and their families.

  2. I remember meeting “Bern” when I had just moved to Crockett. As a young woman, I was impressed with how she “ran the clinic” for all the doctors. She took those same talents to the First Methodist Church where she was one of the volunteer “church ladies” who was always there for any event. On a social level, she and Boog were so much fun to be around. They both will forever be a part of the generation we miss.

  3. Linda, Jamie & Martha Dee,
I am so very sorry to hear of Ms. Bernice’s passing. What a fine lady and I know the matriarch of your family. So many fond memories of growing up together with you and the family. She and Mr. Boog were a first class act. She was a true Christian lady and had the biggest of hearts. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family. I know she is dancing now on streets of gold with ol’ Boog. Thank God we have so many memories to carry forward with us as we heal. Be blessed. Take care.

  4. My heart felt and sincere condolences to the family. Ill never forget the kindness I always received from both Bernice and Boog. God doesn’t make people any better than Bernice and Boog.
