Cynthia “Cindy” Lynn Strban

Cynthia “Cindy” Lynn Strban, age 59, passed away on Monday, October 1, 2018 at her residence in Crockett. She was born March 13, 1959 in El Paso to parents, O. C. Ware and Joyce Graham Ware. Cindy worked for Edmiston Brothers Wholesale grocery as a bookkeeper and later for Julian Insurance in Crockett and Blue Cross Blue Shield in Palestine. She enjoyed her family get togethers as her love for her family was immense. Cindy had many hobbies including crafts of all kinds from gardening to petrified rock collecting, crocheting and painting. She also was an avid gardener and loved feeding hummingbirds as well as other wild life. As Cindy’s health failed, it was extremely hard for her to enjoy the things she loved but you couldn’t keep her down. She would deal with it as it came and she will surely be missed.

Cindy is survived by her husband of 37 years, Paul E. Strban of Crockett; son, Mathew Strban of Crockett; parents, O.C. and Joyce Ware of Crockett; brothers, Steve Ware and fiancé Sue Slack of Crockett, Richard Ware and wife, Janie of Houston; sisters, Marina Huff of Crockett, Alice Martell of Crockett; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. She is preceded in death by her father-in-law and mother-in-law Paul and Vera Strban Sr.

Memorial services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 6, 2018 in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel will Bro. Gene Kellum officiating.
