Darlene Price Rollo Bartee, age 90, of Lovelady, passed away Saturday, April 18, 2020 in the Winfield Nursing Center. Darlene was born August 7, 1929 in Lovelady to parents, Hersel Price and Willie Robison Price. She was a graduate of Lovelady High School and also Elliott Business School. For many years, she was a secretary/group sales representative for Trans America Corporation Insurance Company in Houston. After moving back to Lovelady, she opened “Darlene’s” located in the old Rich Building, selling clothing then she became a Mary Kay Sales Consultant. Darlene and Horace catered for many different events throughout the years. Darlene was an active member of the Weldon Civic Club, Lovelady Garden Club and Lovelady Civic Club being one of original founders of the Love Fest. She was a faithful, active member of the Lovelady First Baptist Church for 48 years working tirelessly in many different areas including the kitchen and doing floral arrangements.

Graveside funeral services for Darlene Price Rollo Bartee will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 21, 2020 in the Salem Cemetery in Lovelady with Dr. Jimmy Arnold officiating.
