  2. God bless you, Butch. I loved our times together at CHS and playing ball together. You was my first HS catcher on the baseball team. I think we were some of the last holdouts to wear flattops? Rest in the arms of the Lord until our

  12. So long Butch; small-town hero and friend. We will miss you.

  13. In my earlier remarks, I omitted three of the CHS honors that Butch collected during that fun time that we lived through in the 50’s: Butch was senior class president (elected in a landslide result) and was a valued member of the CHS band (played alto sax very well), and, in addition was one of a group of only 5 who was a member of the semi-famous Pat LeGory combo.(Pat and Butch slipped away from us within two days of each other, as many of you may have heard by now). Remaining members of that combo–Larry Burks, Walter Bennett and yours truly. Godspeed, Butch and Pat! James Beall Garner
