Glenn Cunningham, Jr., age 53, of Grapeland, passed away Saturday. Glenn was born July 28, 1966 in Crockett to parents Bobby Glenn Cunningham, Sr. and Wilda Juanice Simon Cunningham. He attended Sam Houston State University and helped his father farm peanuts and watermelons. Glenn currently worked for JC Railworks. He loved music, but his greatest achievement was his beautiful daughter, Jessi.

Glenn is survived by his daughter, Jessi Cunningham of Grapeland; father, Bobby Glenn Cunningham, Sr. of Grapeland; step-mother, Emilie Cunningham of Grapeland; sister, Teresa Westbrook and husband, Kevin of Grapeland; nephews, Justin Cunningham and wife, Michelle of Elkhart, Jared Murray and wife, Cadie of Grapeland; niece, Jayde Young and husband, Jake of Crockett; numerous other loving relatives and friends. Glenn is preceded in death by his mother, Juanice Cunningham.

Funeral services for Glenn Cunningham will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 28, 2020 in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel. Interment to follow in Livelyville Cemetery. Family will receive friends for visitation Monday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Callaway-Allee Funeral Home.

    Teresa, we both had little brothers that we thought were pests, but in truth they were just little boys that wanted our attention! Glen was a sweet boy and I’m certain he was a kind, loving man, too. I will be praying for you all during this time of sadness.

  9. Glen was a classmate and our son goes to school with Jessi. Such a sweet young lady Our condolences to Jessi and family. Our hearts hurt for y’all. He was a great guy and always fun to be around. He will be missed.
