Glenn Paul Jones, age 41, of Lovelady passed away Friday, May 12, 2017. He was born August 9, 1975 in Trinity to parents, Claude Wayne Jones and Charlotte Ann Collier Jones. Glenn lived a life of service, serving his country in the United States Air Force, his state as a Sargent with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, and his local community in the Lovelady Voluntary Fire Department.

He is survived by his children, Breeland Shephard of Idaho, Kinley Dawn Jones of Athens and Carson Paul Jones of Athens; parents, Claude Wayne and Charlotte Jones of Lovelady; brother, Randall Wayne Jones of Lovelady, special aunts and uncles, Joylea and Glenn LaRue of Lovelady, David and Betty Collier of Lovelady, and Johnny and Betty Collier of Hope, Arkansas; the love of Glenn’s life, Tracy Johnson and her children, Gage Johnson and Megan Johnson all of Katy; cousin, Jeremy LaRue and wife, Kristi of Lindale;  and numerous other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Glenn Paul Jones will be held Monday, May 15, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Antioch Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Antioch Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Callaway-Allee Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Antioch Cemetery P.O. Box 400, Lovelady, Texas 75851 or the Michelle Lynn Holsey Foundation, P.O. Box 652, Crockett, Texas 75835.

  4. He will be very missed. He was loved and respected by his co-workers. He smiled and had a hug for you every time he saw you. Sending love and prayers to his Children, Family, and to the woman who he found real and unconditional love with.

I am just so sad for you…it just seems like yesterday, when we were car pooling and Glen Paul and Randy were just little boys.
