Harvey Manning ObitHarvey Hart Manning, age 82, of Crockett, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at his residence. He was born November 12, 1937 in Crockett to parents, Graydon Son Manning and Lena Hart Manning. After graduating from Crockett High School, he worked in management for the Gas and Oil Industry, where he retired as a Manager. Harvey was a veteran of the United States Navy, a member of the Lothrop Masonic Lodge #21 AF AM and a member of the Central Baptist Church.

Harvey is survived by daughters, Alta Mayo and husband, Steve of Houston, Melissa Tinney and husband, Troy of Waco, Kristi Hill and husband, Michael of Cypress; grandchildren, Chrisopher Johnson and wife, Haley, Marti Garrett and husband, Steven, Jessie Benoot and husband, Nick, Katie Briscoe and husband, Chance, Lauren Blancett and husband, Terry, Madeline Umhoefer and husband, Zach, Bo Bradley and wife, Holly, Preston Hill, Sarah Hill, Crystin Tinney, Alyssa Tinney, Savanna Tinney; great-grandchildren, Emmaleigh and Paisleigh Johnson, Luke Garrett, Tyler and Tucker Bradley, Jackson Benoot; special nephew, Johnny Minter and wife, Syble of Pasadena; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. He was preceded in death by wife, Martha Manning; parents, Son and Lena Manning; sisters, Edwina Minter, Barbara Jo Muckleroy; brother, G.L. Manning.

Funeral services for Harvey Hart Manning will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 9, 2020 in the Central Baptist Church with Rev. John Goss officiating. Interment to follow in the Grapeland City Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Callaway-Allee Funeral Home.

  2. Harvey and Martha were both such a blessing at our awana program and church. They both will be missed greatly. I know they are doing great deeds in heaven
