Howard Eastepp

Howard Eastepp PIC croppedHoward Eastepp, age 95, of Pennington, passed away Monday, September 21, 2020 at his residence. Howard was born April 30, 1925 in Fayetteville, Arkansas to parents, Hiram Eastepp and Eula Stewart Eastepp. He was a graduate of Pennington High School and a veteran of the United States Navy serving in WWII, Yeoman 3rd Class. Howard worked for 35 years for Entex Natural Gas as an Associate Engineer. He was a member of the Lifepointe Church in Crockett.

Howard is survived by wife, Syble Eastepp of Pennington; sons, Lynn Eastepp and wife, Becky of Jasper, Larry Eastepp of Houston; daughters, Debbie Keith of Pennington, Ann Schaeffer and husband, Mark of Pennington; grandchildren, Laura Davis and husband, Ernie of Seabrook, Leslie Weaver and husband, Troy of Jasper, Jeff Eastepp and wife, Cody of Hampshire, Dustin Schaeffer and wife, Becky of Kyle, Cody Schaeffer and wife, Alicia of Beaumont, Katy Riemenschneider and husband, Brad of Latexo; fifteen great-grandchildren; brothers, Mac Eastepp and wife, Peggy of Pennington, Norman Eastepp of Pennington; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by parents, Hiram and Eula Eastepp; brothers, Carroll Eastepp, Carl Eastepp, Loyd Eastepp, Oscar Eastepp, Hoyt Eastepp; and sister, Mae Reynolds.

Funeral services for Howard Eastepp will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 24, 2020 in the Lifepointe Church, Crockett, TX. with Brother Jeb Dotson and Brother Lloyd Maddoux officiating. Interment will follow in the Possum Walk East Prairie Cemetery. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. prior to service.

  2. So sorry to hear about Howard’s death. Worked with him many years at United Gas- Entex and CenterPoint. He was truly a great person. My sympathy to Sybil and kids, grandkids and great grandkids. I know he loved them each and everyone.
