Howard Tom Holland

Howard Tom Holland, age 85, passed away Monday, October 8, 2018 at his residence in Crockett. Howard was born April 24, 1933 in Scranton, Pennsylvania to parents, Howard Holland and Julie Lucas Holland. He graduated from New York State University and then proudly served his country in the United States Marines. Howard was the director of Administration and Security for Grumman Houston Corporation before buying property with his wife, Ellie in Crockett.  Eventually, retiring to their summer home in 1988 on Houston County Lake.  He became a member of the Lothrop Masonic Lodge #21 AF & AM also the First United Methodist Church.

Howard is survived by wife, Eleanor “Ellie” Holland of Crockett; daughters, Kim Tabor and husband, Mark of Crockett, Tracey Lindsay and husband, Bruce of Crockett; grandchildren, Presley Peyton Ellis of Huntsville, Garrett Lindsay and wife, Sarah Parich of Houston. He was preceded in death by parents, Howard and Julie Holland.

Memorial services for Howard Tom Holland will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 12, 2018 in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel with Dr. Reggie Gregory officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P. O. Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675.

  1. sorry for your loss,i rember him having me take his car to a dealer for some work, told me if I brought it back with a scratch, to leave by badge at the guard shack,also had nice trip to crockett on the clock to deliver some freshly painted patio set, will miss him lol
