Jackie Bowdoin, age 75, of Crockett passed away Thursday, February 13, 2020 in Lufkin Hospice of the Pines. He was born on May 26, 1944 in Porter Springs to parents, Horace Bowdoin and Rosa Lea Dyches Bowdoin. Jackie was a retired auto mechanic and was a member of the Central Baptist Church.

Jackie is survived by his wife, Bertie Vest Bowdoin of Crockett; daughters, Brenda Bradshaw and husband, Ansel of Crockett, Lisa Hall of Crockett, Cheryl Terrell and husband, Billy of Crockett, Brenda Vazquez and husband, Edward of Grapeland, Linda Reed of Crockett; grandchildren, BJ Boykin and wife, Katy of Dallas, Richard Boykin and wife, Gabrielle of Denver, CO, Matthew Bradshaw and wife, Tamika of Crockett, Katie Bradshaw of Crockett, Jessica Duvall and husband, Casey of Porter Springs, Josh Roberts of Latexo, Austin Roberts and wife, Jessica of Midway, Hayden Terrell and wife, Jordan of New Waverly, Amy Rodriguez and husband, Luis of Grapeland, Amanda Vazquez of Grapeland, Euardo Vazquez and wife, Chelsea of Latexo, Jerred Reed of Crockett, Jami Reed of Blanco; great-grandchildren, Reed, Allie, Sye, Easton, Wyatt, Jacklynn, Paezli, Brody, Mason, Daylon, Makayla, Kamryn, Kylee, Alex, Rylie, Timothy, Kaesyn, Aubree, Miah; sisters, Joyce Allbright of Crockett, Robbie Hollingsworth of Lovelady, Darlene Lane and husband, Marion of Crockett, Carol Brown of Port Neches; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Willard Vest and wife, Margaret of Splendora, Billy Vest of Houston, Carrie Powell of Lovelady, Lavone Webb of Crockett, Shirley Wilson of Crockett, Loretta Ellis of Crockett. Funeral services for Jackie Bowdoin will be held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, February 16, 2020 at Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel with Brother Tommy Hutto officiating. Interment to follow at Porter Springs Cemetery. Family will receive friends for visitation Saturday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Callaway-Allee Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made at
