James “Bit” Millwee

James Millwee picJames Lee “Bit” Millwee, age 59, of Crockett, passed away Thursday, December 31, 2020 in the Palestine Regional Hospital. James was born September 17, 1961 in Houston to parents, William Cloise Millwee and Hazel Wilkerson Millwee. He had worked in security and was a member of the Lothrop Masonic Lodge #21 AF&AM.

James is survived by daughter, Jeanne Waller and husband, Jacob of Latexo; son, Daniel Millwee of Texas; grandchildren, Leah and William Waller of Latexo, Christian and Damian Millwee; sister, Deborah Johnson and husband, Carl of Lovelady; niece, Samantha Blackwell and husband, Jason of Palestine; great-nieces and great-nephew, Allison Grace Marie, William Ryan and Evelyn Carter Blackwell; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by parents, William and Hazel Millwee; brothers, William Doyle “Billy” Millwee and Robert “Bobby” Millwee; sister, Pamela Kay Crowson.

Memorial services for James “Bit” Millwee will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, January 9, 2021 in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lothrop Masonic Lodge #21 AF&AM, P.O. Box 955, Crockett, TX 75835
