Janet Lynn Morgan

Janet Morgan pic (2)Janet Lynn Morgan, age 60, of Kennard, passed away Sunday, August 23, 2020 at CHI St. Luke’s Hospital in Lufkin. She was born November 18, 1959 in Houston to parents, Eugene Stanley and Thelma Marie Smith Stanley. Janet was a floral designer for many years and especially loved decorating for Christmas. She enjoyed listening to gospel music and lived for her grandchildren.

Janet is survived by her husband of 46 years, Mike Morgan of Kennard; children, Christine Stanford of Rusk, Michael Morgan of Kennard, Chasity Morgan and Will Rushing of Kennard, Ashton Lane Morgan of Kennard, Ashley Davis of Crockett; grandchildren, Catelyn Stanford, Chance Stanford, Chloe Stanford, Tessa Morgan, Tanner Morgan, Jaycee Shveyda, Addilyn Shveyda, Wyatt Rushing, Weston Rushing; sisters, Barbara Nelson of Porter, Judy Stanley of Montgomery; brother, Allen Stanley of Cold Springs; numerous other loving relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by son, Caleb Morgan; parents, Eugene and Thelma Stanley; sister, Carrie Bloom.

Funeral services for Janet Lynn Morgan will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 28, 2020 in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow in the Ivie Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Callaway-Allee Funeral Home.

  2. So blessed and honored to have crossed paths with such a beautiful soul. I met Janet when I was 15 yo when she and Mike gave me a job at their store. To know her was to love her, always so kind and caring. Sending prayer of love and comfort to her family through these difficult times.
