Jerry Turner obit pic FIXEDJerry Lynn Turner, age 75, of Grapeland, passed away Monday, January 18, 2021 at his home. Jerry was born February 14, 1945 in Crockett to parents, Billy Turner and Lilly Aline Strange Turner. He retired as a truck driver from Vulcraft after 45 years of service. Jerry was a member of the Grapeland Baptist Church.

Jerry is survived by beloved wife of 56 years, Betty Arnold Turner of Grapeland; son, Bill Sexton Turner of Palestine; daughter, Valerie Kay Smith and husband, Dr. Frank A. Smith III, of The Woodlands; grandchildren, Ryan Pennington and wife, Kira of Needville, Morgan Richardson and husband, Nathan of Houston, Blake Turner of Bullard, Dillon Turner and wife, Stephanie of Tyler, Stratton Turner of Tyler, Sarah Turner and fiancé, David Ford of Tyler, Madison Canton Pierce and husband, Cody of Washington; great-grandchildren, Tucker, Cheyenne, Dakota, Weston, Madelynn, Noah, Canton, Case; brother, Larry Turner and wife, Lou Ann of Crockett; sisters, Patricia Turner Collins of Malakoff, Faye Turner Hazen and husband, Mike of Crockett; numerous other loving relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by daughter, Jeri G. Turner Canton; son, Timothy Lynn Turner; and parents, Billy and Aline Turner.

Graveside services for Jerry Lynn Turner will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 22, 2021 at Lovelady Evergreen Cemetery, Dr. Tim Allen officiating.
