Jimmy Earl Isget

Jimmy Isget pic fixedJimmy Earl Isget, age  73, of Crockett passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at his home.  Jimmy was born June 12, 1947 in Grapeland to Milburn Earl Isget and Mammie Marie Wisdom.  He was a high school graduate and then attended Tyler Jr. College.  Jimmy was a Sergeant in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam Era serving as an aircraft mechanic. He was a union steward for the United States Postal Service in Ft. Worth and Crockett for many years.

Jimmy is survived by mother, Marie Westbrook of Kennard; grandsons, Kyle Isget of Groveton, Chase Isget of New Orleans, Jesse Baker of Kinder, LA, Justin Baker of Kinder, LA; daughter-in-law Sandra Camille Isget of Galveston; wife, Janet Lynn Burran of Crockett; step-daughter, Misty Michelle Baker and husband, Jason of Kinder, LA; step-son, William Dewayne Harrison of Crockett; uncles, John A. Isget of Grapeland, John Wisdom and wife, Tina of Longview; nephew, Jeremy Isget and wife, Cristina of Houston; niece, Sara Miller of Dublin, VA.  He was preceded in death by sons, Christopher “Kip” Isget, Anthony “Tony” Isget; father, Milburn Isget; brother, David Randy Isget; step-father, James Westbrook.
