Jimmy H. Hamm, age 84, of Lovelady passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2019 in the Huntsville Memorial Hospital.  Jimmy was born December 11, 1934 in Crockett to parents, Douglas Maurice Ham and Willie Alma Blair Ham.  He was a retired U. S. Customs Agent Senior Inspector where he worked for many years.  Jimmy served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict obtaining the rank of Sargeant.

Jimmy is survived by wife, Dorothy Stowe Hamm of Lovelady; daughter, Carol D. Hamm of Lovelady; son, Dee Hamm of Beaumont; grandchildren, Whitney Hamm of Richmond, Evelyn Fahntrapp of Lovelady, Madeline Hamm of Beaumont; sister, Joyce Barnes of Devers; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.  He was preceded in death by parents, Douglas and Alma Hamm; brothers, William Douglas Hamm; close friend, Jerry Adams.

Graveside funeral services for Jimmy H. Hamm will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 14, 2019 in the Lovelady Evergreen Cemetery.  Family will receive friends for visitation Friday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Callaway-Allee Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
