Juanita Faye Bowen Brittain, age 86, of Crockett passed away Saturday, October 5, 2019 in the Houston County Nursing Home.   Juanita was born December 1, 1932 in Springfield, TX to parents, John Edward Bowen and Della Pearl Wallis Bowen.  She worked many years at Perry Brothers, Minimax and lastly, kept Morgan, Madison and Molly Mask for eleven years before retiring.  Juanita was a member of the South Loop Church of Christ.
Juanita is survived by daughters, Wanda Cummings, Leslie Mangold; sons, David Brittain and wife, Susan, Donald Brittain and wife, Jeanne; grandchildren, Jason Brittain, Justin Cummings and wife, Candy, Jana Beaty and husband, Ethan, Luke Mangold, John Mangold and wife, Karissa, Jeremy Brittain, Nathan Brittain; great-grandchildren, Christopher, Andrew and Shelby Cummings, Halle and Ian Fiola, Bannack and Bexley Mangold; brother, Jack Bowen.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Lesley Brittain in 2015; granddaughter, Kelley Mangold; parents, John and Della Pearl Bowen; brothers, Ivan Floyd, Clark Bowen, John “Jimbo” Bowen; sisters, Tennie Dell Blankenship, Lorraine Wooden, Myrtle Jane Fox.
Graveside services for Juanita Faye Bowen Brittain will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 8, 2019 in the Concord Cemetery with Mike Gibson officiating.  Family will receive friends for visitation Monday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Callaway-Allee Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Concord Cemetery Association, 2517 CR 4020, Crockett, Tx 75835.

  2. I’m just now hearing about this I’m so sorry for yalls loss . She was such a sweet lady I loved sitting with her. I was her sitter before she went to the nursing home. I will keep y’all in my prayers.
