Judith Ann “Judy” Kirksey, age 76, of Crockett passed away Friday, March 22, 2019 in Mother Frances Hospital, Tyler. Judy was born December 15, 1942 in Houston to parents, Prior McCallum and Dolores Charlston McCallum. She was a career childcare provider and dedicated her entire life loving children which showed her sweet spirit teaching Sunday School where she was very active in Church. Judy loved Gospel music, reading her Bible, making crafts, sewing, shopping, eating out and visiting with her many friends. She liked watching Perry Mason and was a big fan of the actor, David Janssen and his show, The Fugitive.

Judy is survived by husband of 58 years, Wayne Kirksey of Crockett; daughter, Deborah K. Coley of Austin; former son-in-law, Arnold Coley of Georgetown; granddaughters, Heather Coley of Austin, Lindsay Coley of Osaka, Japan; great-granddaughters, Elloise Stewart of Sherman, Zoë Sage Hardy of Austin; sisters, Sharon Camp of Kilgore, Gale Rosado of Hawaii; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Floyd Kirksey of Crockett, Charlie and Rachel Kirksey of Crockett, Sue and Ronnie McConnell of Crockett, Linda and Bill Hornaday of Grapeland, Sharon Kirksey of Crockett; nieces and nephews, Kevin Camp, Tulsa, OK,

Funeral services for Judith Ann “Judy” Kirksey will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 25, 2019 in the First Christian Church with Dr. Tim Allen and Dr. Charles Allen officiating. Interment will follow in the Whitehead Cemetery. Family will receive friends for visitation prior to service Monday morning at 10:00 a.m. until service time.
