Judy Lynn Ainsworth, age 74, of Crockett passed away Thursday, March 5, 2020 in the Whitehall Nursing Center. Judy was born October 16, 1945 in Nacogdoches to parents, Willie Guy Powers and Julia Edna Mayes Powers. She earned her Master’s Degree from Sam Houston State University and was a retired school teacher serving for over forty years teaching in Pasadena ISD and Crockett ISD. Judy was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.

Judy is survived by son, Jonathan Ainsworth and wife, Nicole of Crosby; daughter, Allison Ainsworth of Pearland; grandchildren, Chelsey Dudley of Crosby, Cody Dudley of Crosby, William “Max” Maxwell Ainsworth-Dykes of Pearland; brothers-in-law, Jim Tom Ainsworth and wife, Corrie of Crockett, Joe Michael Ainsworth and wife, Pamela of Crockett; cousins, Georganna Bozeman and husband, Paul of Crockett; numerous other loving relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband, William David “Bill” Ainsworth, January 8, 2020; parents, Guy and Edna Powers.

Memorial services pending.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Women’s Kitchen Remodel Fund.

  3. I’m so sad to hear about Judy passing away and she will be truly missed by so many people. She was my cousin and we have stay close all these years I will miss her so much. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.
