Lois Wooley Dominy

Lois Dominy picLois Wooley Dominy, age 88 of Crockett, passed away at her home Sunday, May 3, 2020.  She was born December 10, 1931 in Possum Walk, Texas to parents, Wert Rains Wooley and Dorothy Leona Mericle Wooley.  Lois was a long standing member of the Crockett community since 1961 when she and husband, Oscar, opened Dominy Tire and Service Station.  After Oscar’s passing in 1970, while raising three children, Lois continued to run the service business and expand their ranching business in Pennington.  Lois was a friend to many that she came into contact with over the years and enjoyed visiting with family and friends.  Her greatest joy in life was her family.  Whether it was having a Sunday lunch with plenty of Memaw’s sweet tea or driving the pastures in Pennington, she loved sharing those moments with her family.  Lois was a shining example to all of us of a life well lived and will be greatly missed.  She was a member of the South Loop Church of Christ.
