Margie Sims passed peacefully in her sleep on Friday, September 27, 2019 at the age of 94, surrounded by her family. Margie was born Friday, February 13, 1925 in Kennard to parents, Marshall Troutman and Tiny Hill Troutman. She was a faithful member of the Piney Creek Baptist Church, a devoted wife, caring mother and doting grandmother and great-grandmother.

Margie is survived by son, Ted Sims and wife, Mary of Tomball; daughter, Sandy Randall and husband, David of Willis; grandchildren, Rodney Sims, Shane Sims, Monty Jones, Tiffany Walner and husband, Matt, Lindsey Long and husband, Matt; great-grandchildren, Kyleigh Sims, Sam and Ellie Long,            Hailey Walner; sister, Patty Gibson of Houston; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Lester Sims; son, Phil Sims; grandson, Troy Jones; parents, Marshall and Tiny Troutman.

Margie was a special friend to many including Hazel and Billy Smith, Nell and David Barkley and Lois and Shelby Braswell.

Funeral services for Margie Sims will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, September 30, 2019 in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow in the Hill Cemetery. Family will receive friends for visitation at 11:00 a.m. prior to service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be to the Hill Cemetery Association.
