Martha Lee Haynes Manning, age 77, previously of Crockett, passed away Monday, August 26, 2019 in Woodway, Texas.  Martha was born January 12, 1942 in Grapeland to parents, Alton Haynes and Ruby Gilmore Haynes.  She was a member of the Central Baptist Church.

Martha is survived by husband of 59 years, Harvey Manning of Crockett; daughters, Alta Mayo and husband, Steve of Houston, Melissa Tinney and husband, Troy of Waco, Kristi Hill and husband, Michael of Cypress; grandchildren, Christopher Johnson and wife, Haley, Marti Garrett and husband, Steven, Jessie Benoot and husband Nick, Katie Berry, Lauren Tinney, Madeline Umhoefer and husband, Zach, Bo Bradley, Preston Hill, Sarah Hill, Crystin Tinney, Alyssa Tinney,        Savanna Tinney; great grandchildren, Emmaleigh and Paisleigh Johnson, Luke Garrett, Tyler and Tucker Bradley, Jackson Benoot; sister, Arlene Perry of Elkhart; many nieces, nephews, cousins and beloved friends. She was preceded in death by parents, Alton & Ruby Haynes; brother, James Haynes;                                   sister, Geraldene Evetts; son-in-law, Sammie Berry.

Funeral services for Martha Lee Haynes Manning will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 28, 2019 in the Grapeland First Baptist Church with Rev. John Goss officiating.  Interment will follow in the Grapeland City Cemetery.  Family will receive friends for visitation Tuesday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Callaway-Allee Funeral Home.  Online condolences may be made at www.callawayallee.com

  8. Harvey and family, I am so sorry to hear of Martha’s passing. She was a good friend and classmate and of course you were our neighbor for many years. I wish I could attend the services, but E.F. is on Hospice Care right now and I can’t leave. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.
