  5. I was very saddened to hear about Rae’s passing. We lost touch with each other since high school, but in July 2020 I got a text from Rae. I was thrilled to hear from an old close friend and grateful she found me. We immediately began sharing our lives, our Christian testimony, re-visiting old times, especially about our dear friend Sandy Burney Vance. There was a special room in Rae’s heart for Ackerman and school days with her friends. Rae was a Christian women with a heart of gold and I am very saddened by her death. My heartfelt thoughts and prayers go out to husband Jerry and their wonderful family at this difficult time.

  6. I meet Rae 9 years ago, working for one of her Besties (Debbie Dillingham). I remember when we first met, it was like I had already known her. She had such a sweet demeanor and was so easy to talk to. Through the years, she would call me or text me, for special prayer request or we would just laugh or talk about our Lord. I will miss you Rae, when you would come to visit Debbie & Karen, and you girls would go on your little adventures….You are now on the adventure of a lifetime! Love ya💜💚

  7. I am saddened and heartbroken. Rae and I had lost touch since high school when we graduated together but had regained contact through Facebook in the last few years. We shared many high school memories and caught up with life since. We had planned to get together in person but just never did. When I saw her post that she had contracted COVID and asked for prayers not to be on a ventilator, I immediately started prayers for her and have prayed every day since. So when I saw her picture in the paper this morning, my heart sunk and tears began. Rae was a lovely, sweet, funny, and fun friend in school. We had good times. I remember when she and Jerry started dating and how much fun it was to be witness to them falling in love! I know from FB how much she loved him and her family and how devoted she was to her faith. I am so very sorry this terrible disease has taken this beautiful soul. My deepest condolences.

  8. I want to express my most heartfelt condolences to all the family of Rae. She was a good Christian lady and friend. She is now enjoying eternal happiness and in God’s presence. Continue her life of love and compassion and she will rest in peace. Your friend always, Lewis
