Maxine McLane

Maxine McLane Obit PhotoMaxine McLane, age 83, passed away Saturday November 20, 2020 in Kingwood Medical Center.  Maxine was born January 18, 1937 in Crockett to parents, Raymond Mims and Lena Patton Mims.  She was very active in her church, Evergreen Baptist Church in Porter.

Maxine is survived by children, Melinda Didway, Ronnie McLane, Judy Mueller and husband, Randy; grandchildren, Joshua Campbell, Christopher Vaughn, Jonathan Didway, Sheana Whitmarsh; great-grandchildren, Corey Vaughn, Ashlyn Didway, Baylien Campbell, Decklin Campbell, Lincoln Campbell; sister, Evalena Ashley and husband, Doc; numerous other loving relatives and friends.  Maxine was preceded in death by husband, Joe McLane; son, Larry McLane; parents, Raymond and Lena Mims; sisters, Diane Allen and Windola Bozeman.

Funeral services for Maxine McLane will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 24, 2020 in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel, Rev. Ralph Salinas officiating.  Interment to follow in Latexo Cemetery.  Online condolences may be left at www.callawayallee.com.

  4. Judy, I spoke to Aimee two days ago and she told me about your Mama. Honey, I am so sorry to hear this as I know what you both have been through. My heart and prayers are with you all during this very sad time. I will be thinking of you and keeping you lifted up in the days and weeks to come as you travel this road. Please know how very much I love you, Judy, and please convey my love to your family. I did not get the pleasure of knowing your Mama but knowing well the daughter she raised I can only know that she was one of the best people our Lord ever put on this earth. May God’s peace and love be with you all.
