Oliver Andrew “Andy” Fowler, age 86, of Crockett passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2018 at the Whitehall Nursing Center.  Andy was born April 22, 1931 in Antioch Community, Panola County, Texas to parents, Ernest Andrew Fowler and Lucy Josephine Methvin Fowler.  He owned and operated Andy’s Time Shop for many years and retired from the jewelry business.

Andy is survived by sons, Steve Fowler of Crockett, Drew Fowler and wife, Becky of Crockett; sister, Pat Bowden of Gary; brother, Sam Fowler of Rusk; granddaughter, Dawn Crabtree and husband, Jeremiah; great-grandsons, Sean, Andrew and Bryan Crabtree; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by wife of 54 years, Faye Fowler in 2010; daughter-in-law, Sandra Fowler in 2016; parents, Ernest and Josie Fowler; numerous sisters and brothers.

Funeral services for Oliver Andrew “Andy” Fowler will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 26, 2018 in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel.  Interment will follow Antioch Cemetery in Panola County.  Family will receive friends for visitation Sunday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Callaway-Allee Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, memorials contributions may be made to Andy Fowler fund at Callaway-Allee Funeral Home.

Uncle Andy was a kind,sweet.loving man of God.We will miss him so very much,he was always so gentle and welcoming to me and my family.I love his joking ways and the memories he shared over numerous cups of coffee.He was especially kind to his Momma Naomi Ruth and her husband,my Daddy Scott Summers.They both had great respect and love in their hearts for he and Aunt Faye;and loved Drew &Steve.He was a rich man in everyway that really counts!He lived a good life and will be long remembered and missed.He is at home now with his loving wife and so many family and friends; but especially Jesus.We just know he greeted the Lord with that big smile of his.We will say see ya later for now….until then save us a spot at the table.I just bet heaven has coffee.☕We love you…Drew,Becky,Steve,and family your in our prayers.
