Rev. Dr. Joe Allbright

Joe Allbright obituary pic (2)Rev. Dr. Joe E. Allbright, Sr., age 83, of Houston passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at his residence.  He was born August 23, 1936 to parents, Albert Allbright and Mabel Josephine Nicholson Allbright.  Rev. Allbright served in the United States Air Force Reserve.  He was a retired ordained minister and received his Doctorate in Theology and counseled innumerous individuals with life issues helping them to explore and resolve their problems through God’s teachings.  He was a member of the Fairfield Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Rita Frances Allbright of Houston; children, Michele Renee Ferguson and husband, Mac of Hockley, Joe Edward Allbright, Jr. of Cypress, Michael Glenn Allbright and wife, Angie of The Woodlands; grandchildren, Sean Paul Berry and wife, Audra of Iola, Shane Allbright and wife, Ashley of Cypress, Ryan Allbright of Cypress, Kristen Hosler and husband, Samuel of The Woodlands, Brandon Allbright of The Woodlands; four great-grandchildren, Paul, William, and Shiloh Berry, and Collin Allbright; and numerous other living relatives.  Rev. Allbright is preceded in death by his great-grandson, Caden Michael Allbright, parents, Albert and Mabel Allbright, brother, Don Dwayne Allbright, nephew Randy Frank Allbright and Aunt Vida Ruth Martin.

Graveside services for Rev. Dr. Joe E. Allbright, Sr. will be held at 12:00 Noon Friday, March 27, 2020 at the Center Hill Cemetery with Dr. Tim Allen officiating.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 North Michigan Ave. FL. 17, Chicago, Illinois 60601.

  7. To Mrs. Rita and family, so sorry hear of the passing of Dr. Albright! He was truly a man of God! God gifted him with a great ministry that touched thousands of people! I was one of those! It’s been years but I still remember the love and kindness I received from Dr. Albright and you! The Father of Mercy and God of all comfort be with you!

Rita I am from Mount Calm Texas I’m very sorry to hear about the passing of a Doctor Albright but your husband was the reason I found Christ for a message he preached I gave my life to Christ and was baptized by a Doctor Albright.what a privilege it is that I will get the chance to see dr. Albright again in heaven as we all will my prayer is for peace and calmness during your time of grief wow Mount calm Texas that is a day I will never forget I was sad when you left Mount Calm.
