Rosemary Peak Rosser

Rosemary Peak Rosser, age 73, passed away peacefully with her family by her side Tuesday, September 4, 2018. She was born December 11, 1944 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma to parents, Edward and Clara Peak. Very soon her family moved to Aurora, Colorado where she graduated high school. Later she moved to Houston where she met and married her husband, Clifford Rosser on July 11, 1969. She began working as an Administrative Assistant and retired in 2001 after 10 years of service from Village Fire Department.

Throughout Rosemary’s life, her passion and joy was raising her children, watching their numerous sporting events and cooking for her family and friends. She also enjoyed square dancing where she and Cliff won many awards.  Later in life, Rosemary loved family trips to Disney with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Clifford Rosser of Houston; sons, Michael Rosser and wife, Sheila of San Antonio, Lance Rosser and wife, Laura of Houston; step-daughter, Chana Beene and husband, Brett of Mexia; grandchildren, Blair and Chet Beene, Ryan and Rachel Rosser; brother, Gregory Peak of Livingston; niece and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Clara Peak; sister, Carolyn Burnett; and brother, Robert E. Peak.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, September 7, 2018 at Evergreen Memorial Park in Crockett, TX with Pastor Larry Morris officiating.

A future Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date at Living Word Church of the Nazarene in Houston, TX.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Living Word Church of the Nazarene, 4007, 16607 Clay Road, Houston, TX 77084 or charity of your choice.
