Sharon Kirksey obit picSharon Kirksey, age 66, of Crockett, passed away Monday, February 22, 2021 at her home. Sharon was born May 14, 1954 in Crockett to Walter Vernon Starling and Evelyn Woodard Starling. She was the Assistant Activity Director at Whitehall Nursing Center for many years. Sharon was a member of the Crockett Elks Lodge and also the American Legion Women’s Auxiliary. She was a longtime member of Central Baptist Church.

Sharon is survived by son, Kenneth Kirksey of Crockett; daughter, Carla Miles and husband, Jonathan of Florence, SC; grandchildren, Brianna Nicole Kirksey of Crockett, Chloe Kirksey of Crockett, Sophie Kirksey of Crockett, Connor Kirksey of Crockett, Loudon Miles of Florence, SC, Marley Miles of Florence, SC; sister, Janice Martin of Crockett; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Sharon was preceded in death by husband, Carl Kirksey; parents, Walter and Evelyn Starling; brothers, Rickey Starling, Vernon Lynn Starling; daughters-in-law, Marie Kirksey and Amber Kirksey.

Funeral services for Sharon Ann Kirksey will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 26, 2021 in the Central Baptist Church, Rev. John Goss officiating. Interment to follow at the Wesley Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening in the Callaway-Allee Funeral Home.
