Susan Cheryl Driskill Bass

Cheryl Driskill BassSusan Cheryl Driskill Bass, age 72, of Clear Lake, passed away Monday, December 7, 2020 after a long, courageous battle with cancer. She was born October 9, 1948 in San Antonio, TX to parents, Will E. Driskill and Hazel Turney Driskill of Crockett. Cheryl was a 1967 graduate of Crockett High School, attended Jacksonville Baptist College, retired from The State of Texas, and the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Cheryl is survived by her mother, Hazel Driskill, daughters, Kim and Brooke Bass; brothers, Don and Ed Driskill; uncle, Royce Turney; numerous cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Will E. Driskill.

A memorial service for Susan Cheryl Driskill Bass will be held at 12:00 noon Thursday, December 10, 2020 at the First United Methodist Church in Crockett with Rev. Steve Porter officiating. Interment was at the New Energy Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, a gift to the GIST Cancer Research Fund,, in Cheryl’s memory would be most helpful, and greatly appreciated.

  5. Very sorry to hear of Cheryl’s passing. Will miss her comments on Facebook as she challenged her horrible disease. I know she is now living a very blessed life with our Lord in heaven. I know she will be missed by her family and friends and may the Lord be with you during this time.
