Theresia Bobalik


THERESIA MAE HAYNIE BOBALIK went to her heavenly home and reunited with the love of her life on July 18, 2019. She was born December 18, 1941 in Houston Texas and had lived in Houston County most of her life. Theresia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and sister. She was a friend to all who knew her and will be greatly missed by many. Theresia wore many hats during her lifetime and paved many new paths for women to follow. She was the first woman bus driver in Houston County and only woman to work in the fiberglass field at Shock Baton. She worked beside her husband many years in the custom hay baling business, volunteered many hours for TYC, as well as volunteered her time for many school departments and teams. She was a member of S.P.J.S.T Lodge # 74.

Preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Billy Bobalik, and mother and father, Josephine and Henry Lester Haynie. She is survived by daughters, Jody Bobalik, Mary Jo Gillory and husband, Jimmy and Terri Daigle; brother, Donald Haynie; niece, Tanya Hollas and husband, Rodney; grandchildren, Alan Morris and wife, Kia, Phillip Herring, Shasta Herring, Patrick Rothrock and wife, Haley, Layne Daigle and Casey Daigle; great-grandchildren, Nathan and Arthur Morris, Tanner and Emmerson Herring, Brice and Saige Alexander; cousin, Sarah Roark. And her very special and beloved dog, Lou Lou.

A visitation with Theresia’s family will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, Saturday, July 20, 2019 at Callaway–Allee Funeral Home in Crockett Texas.
