  3. Virgil I was proud to be your friend all the way back to Bell Street in Crockett, I feel so blessed from knowing you for so long, but where did the time go. Your kids use to always come to my house and so did Albert’s and Sharon’s just about everyday. You always treated me just like you would treat a brother, and I say Thank you so graciously for that. To Carolyn and to all of your family, God Bless you all in this time of sorrow .

  6. I loved my Uncle Virgil so very, very much!!! I have many wonderful memories of growing up around him as a child, and around my cousins, Kevin, Randy, Neal, Daniel and Joanna. Uncle Virgil was a lot of fun; he loved to joke around and always made us laugh. He and I had some great conversations about Jesus from time to time, and it is very comforting for me to know that I have not seen him for the last time, because I know Jesus is his Savior, and therefore I will see him again one day, in God’s perfect world. I know my Dad, Grandma and Grandpa met him at Heaven’s gate, and they are all having the best family reunion EVER!!! Only one life it will soon be past, and only what a person does with Jesus Christ will last…Uncle Virgil put his trust in Jesus Christ; as a result of that commitment he is now having the time of his life!!!

  7. Virgil will be truly missed. He was a good friend and neighbor on Bell Avenue.

  8. Uncle Virgil, There are so many memories I will cherish forever. I wouldn’t trade one single minute of the time we had with you here on this earth. I will miss your big bear hugs. The stories and laughter of Daddy, Uncle Tracy and your coon hunting adventures. Although we will miss you here, I find comfort now just knowing you are with the Lord and All of the family and friends that have gone before you. Not goodbye but Until we see you again. I love you.

  9. He will surely be missed. I remember him so much from my younger days he was always smiling and aggravating/joking. They were some of my great memories being there and playing with all the kids.

  10. Our condolences to Carolyn and to Virgil’s children. seems like a lifetime ago now when we used to visit with each other, hunt together and just visit. Those were good times. Virgil was a good man. Prayers for the family.
