Walt Wilson

Walt WilsonMr. Walter “Walt” Lee Wilson, age 64, born October 3, 1950 and passed away October 30, 2014.

 

Survivors include Wife, Cyndi Wilson of Kennard; Daughters, Tracey White and husband, Jim of Kennard, Annie Markham and husband, Brent of Allen, Amy Crawford and husband, Kevin of Kennard; Sister Charr Arrington and husband, Steve of Alvin; Grandchildren, Megan Jones and husband, Mike, Haley White, Dinah Markham, Cadence Markham, Ali Markham, Jagger Crawford, and Jordan Crawford;

Great-granddaughter, Emma Jones; Faithful companion, Oscar the Bassett hound and numerous other relatives.

 

Walt was a retired Houston Firefighter/Paramedic, a fly fisherman, talented woodworker and a 25 year veteran of the Brazos Valley Volleyball Officials Association. Volleyball was one of the great passions in his life, and he helped many of our local community teams with volleyball clinics and skills camp. He was a state tournament official for 3 separate years. In the early 90’s, Walt was a traveling chalk art Evangelist bringing the Word of God to the many churches around our area and beyond.
